Administrator: How do I generate a username and API key?

Be sure to make note of your API key; for security reasons it will not be available after you initially generate and save it. If you fail to note the key, you will need to generate a new one.
Generating a new API key will interrupt any pre-existing OneXperience API services until your developers have completed updating their API calls. A new API key should only be generated in close coordination with your company’s development team.
- Click your name at the top of your dashboard.
- Select Administration.
- Click API in your Administration menu.
- Enter a usernameThis username is specific to the API and not to you.
- Click Generate API key.
- Copy the API key
- Provide the API key and username to your developers.
- Click Save.
